I’m so excited to spend Easter with my family, and this week I have been adding some festive little touches to my house to get into the spirit of things. I’m not usually one to go for over-the-top seasonal décor for any holiday — I much prefer to add little décor elements that brighten up my home in a subtle way.

Come spring time, fresh flowers are always a must in my house, and especially over Easter. Since I was already going to have flowers out, I decided to try making this fun Easter egg flower vase to go with them —  It is an easy way to add infuse some playful and seasonal décor into the house, but also be subtle and beautiful. My children also love that we have a big vase full of candy.

So here is what you will need:

  • 2 tall cylinder vases — You want these to be the same shape, but two different sizes. The smaller one needs to be able to fit inside the larger one, with about 1 inch of space between them. You can find vases at Michaels or Amazon
  • 2 1lb bags of candy-coated eggs
  • Fresh flowers of your choice

Directions

  1. Start by placing your smaller vase inside your larger one.
  2. Once the smaller one is inside the larger one, begin filling the space between the two vases with your eggs.
  3. Once your vase is full of eggs, using a funnel, carefully add water to the smaller vase. Place your flowers inside, and you’re done!

I hope you guys enjoy making this fun Easter décor! If you do try it, please take a picture and tag me so that I can see how yours turn out!

Happy Easter! Xx
